This spectacular hand knotted, Oriental rug incorporates a distinctive piece of Kazak culture.
this Kazak Pak. Caucasian rug is 2’9 x 4’2
Kazak rug designs are originating from the western area of the Caucasus mountains populated by Armenian and nomadic Kurdish tribesmen, Kazak rugs should not be confused with the country of Kazakstan. Kazak rugs, like many Caucasian designs, are dominated by highly stylized floral motifs. If you like these rugs, you may also be interested in our antique tribal collectable rugs, which are very similar. Reds, blues, greens, and yellows are the main colors used in these vibrant rugs. The rugs are very fine quality rugs based on antique Kazak designs, and are made with natural dyes and Ghazni handspun wool by Turkoman Afghan weavers.
we carry a large selection of Fine Turkoman classical Caucasian design and please visit our show room for more samples like this.
