The name comes from the ancient Anatolian city of Usak, Turkey which was an epicenter for rug creation in the early days of the Ottoman Empire onward. They are notable for the grand, monumental scale of the designs, often a subdued palette in soft apricot and golden saffron tones whose pleasing qualities are enhanced by their particularly soft and lustrous wool. Made with the finest hand knotted and natural dyed fibers.
