This Antique Transylvanian 17th Century Turkish Prayer Rug – 3'10" x 5'4" is a rare and historically significant textile rooted in Ottoman Turkish artistry. Known as “Transylvanian Rugs,” these Anatolian weavings were highly valued and preserved in the churches of Transylvania, where they were admired for their beauty and craftsmanship.
