This classic Soumak was woven with classical traditional motifs and designs and is beautiful with it’s tribal influence. The amazing art of carpet weaving has been passed down for generations and is very complex. The most familiar weave is from the region of Caucasus, where a tight, flat weave is used; Often bags and blankets were made in this way as well.
