Farahan, Sarouk Rugs
Antique Sarouk Farahan. Beginning in the mid 18th century “Ferahan” carpets were woven for the Persian aristocracy. The weave is extremely fine and combine both tribal and traditional designs. The dyes hail from the Ferahan plain of the Arak/Sultanabadistricts of Persia, a very fertile agricultural hub.
