The late 19thC carpets had techniques that are tribal influenced. The town of Oushak is found by the Gediz river. It is known that Oushak carpets were the first to reach Europe and have since then set an standard for taste and design. For Centuries, these carpets have been featured in commissioned paintings and Sultans, Viziers and Pashas employed weavers to make Oushacks, typically of a grand scale for their homes.
