Verdure designs in the eighteenth century. A Verdue Tapestry also known as a garden tapestry which mainly features plant forms. It is not exactly known when these originated, but by the 16thCentury these designs were very popular. By the end of the 17thCentury, landscapes were incorporated into the designs as well.

Bakhtiari rugs are considered an esteemed form of art, mastered by the nomadic Bakhtiari tribe in Iran. These lustrous richly toned antique carpets prove that the weavers of this time truly knew the meaning of unique design. Baktiaris are known for the traditionally brilliant and vibrant colors as the palette acts to set off a visually stunning medallion. The motif is classical Baktiari, mixing the best of nomadic Tribal designs with more typically sophisticated urban Persian elements.
